My name is Anthony (Tony) Orlando.  I graduated from Lehigh University in 1951 and went to work for WU at 60 Hudson Street.  One of my assignments was to assist in the testing of passive reflector antenna systems operating over a 27.8 mile path from Monsey, NY to the WU building in NYC.  Mr. R. (Bob) Greenquist was the project engineer.

I left WU in 1954 and after the early 1960's lost contact with my former colleagues.  While I frequently thought about sharing the attached photos I did not contact the WU website until Feb. 2005.

The experiments at Monsey were successfully completed and R.E. Greenquist and I published a paper in the WU Technical Review Vol. 8 #2 in April 1954.  It was serious work, but in our "down time" we found time for levity as reflected in some of these photos.
